Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

The subway of pizzas! Delicious pizzas and loved the experience.

Super fast, super easy and super cheap. Not bed eh? As everyone says, it's like the pizza version of chipotle. You choose the regular crust or gluten free. Then choose the sauce and meats. Then come all the extras. I had the Alfredo sauce with mozzarella, chicken, pepperoni, spinach, artichokes and sun dried tomatoes. That's a lot topped on one pie! It was pretty good and I would definitely return. This is a great place for people on the go or looking for a quick bite.

You call the shots pizza ... In a nutshell- you craft your own pizza...fresh ingredients...beer on tap. Nuff' said;) Ask em to warm up your chocolate chip cookie in the oven too- heaven!! Very friendly staff - a plus fo' cheessy;) Ha! My favorite pikza' place!!

With all of these great customizable flat rate pizza joints popping up, it's really hard to find a stand out star. PizzaRev has plenty of toppings to choose from, INCLUDING THREE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEPPERONIS. THREE. Parking lot is a pain, especially during lunch time. Luckily they have online ordering.

  • Alex L.

My favorite of all the "build your own pizza" joints taking over LA. The staff is friendly and they don't go light with the toppings. There's a great selection of toppings to make your pizza as healthy or as crazy as you want. AND there's even a few beers on tap to wash it all down. I recommend asking them to keep your pizza in the oven for an extra minute or so to get that nice golden crust.

Saw this place driving down Sepulveda. Make your own pizzas. Great concept. Wish I had thought if it. The thin pizza was great. Wish they did have a choice for thicker crust. I would still come back.

This is my favorite place to eat when we come to the Southbay to watch a movie at ArcLight Beach Cities! Love the topping choices, especially the meat options that aren't pork - wow, beef pepperoni! Also love the personalized Coke dispenser and the Cake Monkey desserts. Service is friendly and fast, a welcome change from other similar joints such as 800 Degrees and the even less-good Blaze. If only they'd open a branch in Mid-City LA, like Pico/Fairfax.

Pizza is fresh and you pick the toppings. Thin crust is always good. Been there 10 times and always good and quick. They burned it once, but just remade us another one in 5 minutes. Price is reasonable.

I Decided to try Pizza Rev since Blaze Pizza Torrance failed miserably. The crust was cooked perfectly, & the flavor from the meats & cheeses Blended well together. The staff were attentive & friendly. The owner wasn't Abusive to the staff like the Blaze Pizza owner is. Great atmosphere, great food, good times! Pizza Rev You Guys Rock!!

  • Dee S.

Pretty good made-to-order personal sized pizza. It's a pretty thin crust. I read in the reviews that if you get too many toppings, the crust will get soggy. I opted for three toppings. I got Italian sausage, mushrooms and red onions. Pizza came out nice and crispy.. It was a little much for me to eat the whole pizza, so I just got a box and took the 2 pieces home. They guys in my party had no problem eating the whole pizza. Parking is good since there is a shared lot in the back. I would definitely come back.

First time here and it's great. Thin crust pepperoni. Not too thin either. Fresh toppings. The Cesar salad is delicious. Will have to come back again soon.

Came her by mistake and ended up having a really good pizza and overall fun dining experience. I have passed by several times, seeing lines for this place. My wife and I were indecisive and gave PizzaRev a go. I really appreciate the generous method of "Build it yourself" approach to this business. I kept trying to get the pizza maker to stop me with my toppings but that never happened. Love the interesting topping selection...never had bleu cheese on a pizza but it's awesome. The coke machine with six thousand flavors always rocks. Staff was super friendly and the place is spotless. I can see the seating becoming a bit tight but I think that's the only gripe. I save Five Star ratings for experiences that move me Nd I do have a favorite pizza spot but this joint did the trick and we will return again and again. Check online as they have some specials that are "time of day" specific (pic). Rock on PizzaRev...Rock on.

Good selection of toppings, friendly service and large portion size.

    (4)
  • Kimmy R.

This would have been a five star rating if not for the ambiance. Why oh why did they make sky high ceilings? With music blaring the people talking the workers taking your order can barely hear what toppings you want on your pizza. I am barely 5 feet tall so I am speaking through a thick sheet of glass as it is but the noise level in there made communication near impossible. If making more than one pizza it gets really confusing and complicated. Do yourself a favor and print out their fax order form so you can see what they have ahead of time and mark off your choices... it is a frenetic process once you get there with multiple people making your pizza and with the lines that were there it is hard to even get a handle on what your choices are.... I think they need signs to help those that didn't check out the choices ahead of time. I LOVE the concept... and the size of the pizza for the price with unlimited toppings is excellent. My husband made the most interesting combination of capers, ham, chicken, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, basil, garlic and feta that he absolutely loved and could have never had anywhere else. I stuck to a pretty traditional sausage, mushroom and garlic with mozarella and ricotta and olive oil instead of sauce. The crust was thin and bubble which I really liked. Pizzas came out of the oven quick and hot....well, except for the raspberry dessert pizza... that one was cold by the time we got it to the car. Even cold, it was pretty yummy with a cinnamon base sauce and frosting drizzle. I guess I will try them again during off hours... it was just too darn crazy in there to be enjoyable.

  • Christina V.

Came here as part of the grand opening. This is apparently a franchise, but this was my 1st encounter with their food. I like the Chipotle/Subway concept where you can get exactly what you want.... Pizza was just ok. I opted for the gluten-free crust($2 up charge) and would probably not do that again if I come back. The regular dough is raw and cooks with your toppings and likely tastes better. The GF however, is pre-made ): The bummer is that these only go in the oven for a minute so the crust doesn't burn but my toppings(all veggies) were very undercooked. Luckily I didn't get any meat toppings-that would have been gross! If I had paid full price($10) I would have been very disappointed, but I got it free (: so I am not angry but recommend they do something about it to appeal to the non-gluten eating yelpies of the Southbay.

  • Miss B.

5 because they serve the best gluten free pizza i have tasted yet. I got olive oil, garlic, feta, mozzarella, various veggies and vuala I could not stop eating, its a lot of pizza for the price! Nice outside seating Great for work lunch. Parking is good too. Price is very reasonable. They have salads and regular pizzas too. Good place for a family outing, group outing, work casual lunch, etc.

The idea is a popular one - make the food your way along a counter with multiple options at each turn. But just as you may expect for a service that pumps out pizzas as fast as they do - it loses some important attributes along the way - oh, like flavor. The pizza was not bad, but it was "ho-hum" as my grandma might say. My guess is that they will get customers on the fun new way to make their own pizza's (dessert pizza's too) but need to work on the taste of the final product to keep people coming back. I was there in the first trial day for the public where the pizzas were being cooked free and the business got to work out some of their issues. This was a great idea. I just hope they can find a way to make the pizza taste better than a cafeteria line pizza because when you have several other pizza options close by, at this point I'm going to choose Valentinos hands down.

you have to understand that i'm very picky about pizza - this was perfect for me. unlimited variety of very fresh ingredients from sauce to proteins to veggies on a thin crust which crisps up in no time and no grease! can't beat it, especially at the one price fits all of 8 bucks. easy parking and an excellent addition to our neighborhood. would never have given it a second thought if not for the great reviews on yelp. my first pizza was topped with red sauce, mozzarella cheese, fresh tomotaoes, basil, garlic (of course), mushrooms and indeed, anchovies. they are advertised as personal pizzas more because one personalizes the pizza than for their size as there are 6 generous slices that easily feeds two. they have the same deal with "craft your own salad" for the non pizza customer and one of those touch screen drink machines where you mix your sodas. can't wait to go back.

Website says that you can order online but when I got to the store they said they you could not...so I had to wait for my pizza once I got there. Good thing I printed out the email that "confirmed" my order and brought it with me as proof! The pizza had this weird table salt taste to it that did not sit well with my stomach. Not sure if it was the sauce or one of the toppings. Portion is good for the price, but I will not be returning. I will just order from Pizza Hut or Dominoes instead.

One of the better pizza places I've been to! This pizza place can be described as the "Subway of pizza". When ordering your meal you have a choice to pick the crust, (recommend the original) sauce, cheese, and toppings. I ordered the original dough with red sauce, mozzarella, with pepperoni and sausage. I kept it simple but all ingredients looked extremely fresh and tasty. The pizza was done in under 10 minutes. It was delicious and fast. Recommend it for quick, tasty pizza!

I stumbled upon this place recently, and am now a big fan. This any way you want it casual pizza joint was a pleasant surprise. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are ample and the prices are just about right. I'm not aware of other similar pizza places- you choose every aspect of your perfect (personal sized) pie, crust, sauce, toppings, etc. If you don't like the result, it's nobody's fault but your own. My pizza was great, and because if the thin crust, didn't take long to bake. We chose to dine in, but may stop by for take home, next time. They also have a 4 to 6 and after 8:30 special- $9.95 for a pizza and a beer- not bad!!

Great place! Individual pizza's that you can make your own. Kids loved it, they were able to get what they wanted since they are picky about there pizza, and eating outside by the fire was a blast for them. After we finished eating we saw someone with a desert pizza and went back in for one. Came out with two! This place is for sure on the list for a quick dinner out.

For a quick pizza lunch this is the place. I spent 8.50 including tax for a good thin crust with red sauce pizza. Came out delicious and not too heavy for lunch. You can select from a number of cheeses, meats and veggies. The place is roomy and the best part the pizza is ready in about 7-8 minutes. Definitely worth a try if you want a individual pizza for lunch.

I'm not one to write a review but my first experience at Pizza Rev was wonderful. I wasn't completely clear on the ordering process but its so simple and straight forward that I couldn't believe the value?? For $7.99 you get a 10 inch pizza that you can customize with as many toppings you like and the best thing is the variety of toppings....the combinations are endless. I was worried about the line but the system is extremely efficient and the staff very friendly. This is not your typical pizza place.....I'm coming back for more.......delicious and extremely affordable. Pizza Rev....keep up with the quality.......you've got a great thing going on.......and I'm not a pizza junkie......but can totally turn into one. Thank you.

Went there for lunch around 12:00. The line is pretty long but definitely worth it. Make your own for $7.99. Kids $5.99. September kids eat free with August kids receipt. Gluten-free crust for extra $2. Thin crust, no other choice. You can mix the red & white sauce, cool!

I had eaten at their competition Pieology and loved it. So I thought I'll try them. The line took forever to move. It took 25 minutes to reach the front. We finally ordered our pizza. The crust was burned and the top was cold. The dough smelled uncooked. Both my husband and I came home with bad stomach aches. Very disappointed!!!!

I tried the cheese pizza (since it's like $3 cheaper than when you add anything) and the oreo dessert pizza (since I had an email coupon from them for a free one). The cheese pizza was fine. Not memorable though. As for the dessert, pass. I mean, you can't really screw up crumbled Oreos and chocolate and caramel sauce on a pizza crust, but since you don't truly need dessert, why go for something that is less than great? The best part is the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Hundreds of mix and match flavors.

Conveniently located between home and work is one of my favorite pizza spots: PizzaRev. I would have never known about this place if I wasn't invited here by a friend. You craft your own pizza and the staff is real helpful if you don't know the sequence to ordering. 1) You choose what type of pizza dough (regular or gluten-free) 2) select a sauce 3) select a cheese 4) choose your toppings. This is all posted on the wall and they also have cards to assist. I went with PizzaRev's signature dough, red sauce, all-natural Italian cheese, pepperoni, spicy pepperoni, beef pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms and garlic. I also ordered an Oreo Dessert Pizza to celebrate my friend's belated birthday. Washed it all down with a Cherry Dr. Pepper. The service is excellent, the pizza cooks fairly quickly. They seem to use the right sauce to cheese ratio and the fresh pizza dough really make this a real tasty lunch or dinner. Parking can sometimes be pretty bad at certain times of the day. The trick is to park in the lot behind and show your PizzaRev receipt for free parking.

    (5)
  • Jennifer L.

Staff is extremely friendly but the pizza really isn't fantastic.. The dough itself needs more flavor and the sauce isn't that great either There's a lot of parking though and they have a nice outdoor seating area I wish they had more choices of dough- whole wheat or something

This used to be our main pizza place in Los Angeles for a quick bite after the beach. Now, I'm not so sure. They have made a lot of changes that apparently seem to go up the pizza chain to corporate. These are the changes and trust me they're not good: The marinara sauce for the pizza has changed. There used to be actual marinara sauce now it's tomato paste like one of those little cans of tomato paste. Paste is not the equivalent to sauce. And if you mess up the sauce every bite of the pizza is now affected by this change. The other thing they changed, is the hot sauce. They used to have bottles upon bottles of Cholula. Now, they didn't even downgrade to Tapatío they just decided to put their label on something tasting like diluted Tabasco. Another change was the regular crust pizza. It is thinner which you may think be good for the crispier folks but the thing about thinner pizza crust means you have to put less toppings or it will get a soggy middle and nobody likes a soggy middle part of the pizza. Lastly, something that hadn't bothered me before (to the point of not returning) was the price increase. I was fine with it because I thought I was getting good ingredients... Now I'm not. They're getting cheaper and cheaper and I'm losing trust in the company. I'm hoping the change will be reversed. Sad but true.... PS. The star is just for the service.. They try their best. I just wish corporate did too.

Not sure how you can go wrong with having the option of customizing your own pizza. Although this place is like Blaze Pizza, the crust here is a bit different. In my opinion, it's more crisp...crunchier. Not my fave but not bad either. Unlimited toppings! Different types of pepperoni! There's even a kids meal I'd say check it out if you're in the area. It looks more appealing than other build-your-own pizza places that I have visited. Tastes a bit better too.

  • Julz C.

Started coming here about 1 month ago. I'm gluten-free not by choice but have an allergic reaction. I continue to come to this place because they offer a gluten-free dough made out of rice and I add olive oil on it as my sauce and choose all the vegetables. I've never waited in line. I dislike waiting as you can tell from all my other reviews. The staff can be more friendly. They always seems to be in a rush and have no personality at all. Parking is easy. They have a nice outdoor patio w/ a fire pit that we normally always sit at.

This fast became my favorite lunch spot in the 'Gundo. $7.99 for a customized thin-crust pie... Think subway... but so much better! White (Alfredo) sauce? Yup. Red sauce? Yup. Green sauce? Yup. White and Green? You just got crazy... but yup, they'll do that for you too! And for the health conscious? They've got gluten-free crust, low fat mozzarella and olive oil for you... and barf... salads... but where's the fun in that? Lots of meats - spicy pepp, bacon, regular pepp, ground beef, chorizo... lots of veggies - tomatoes, spinach, artichoke hearts, capers, basil, mushrooms, etc... You pick it all! I make the best ones... no joke. Look how good they look! It tastes even better. My specialty: Red and white sauce, mozzarella, spicy pepperoni, mushrooms, tomatoes, pineapple, garlic, oregano... well done. Sometimes I get artichokes, sometimes I get spinach... depending on how I'm feeling that day. I also ask for a complimentary pesto sauce on the side cause I'm adventurous like that. You can also customize your soft drink... They have one of those machines where you can mix it all up. Seriously. Best place ever! .

What?! I haven't reviewed this place. I have been here way too many time to not review. I even talk about PizzaRev in other reviews because those other places want to be PizzaRev, but never will be! This is our go to place. This is our happy place!! This is where we go and enjoy fresh dough, fresh toppings (unlimited), with whatever sauce you want and they throw it in the oven while we enjoy our beer. The pizza is awesome and that is all I really need to say about the food. Some people might not dig the thin crust, but I love it. And they have VEGAN cheese, so I can enjoy my pizza instead of it being chesseless. Their toppings are also always very fresh! The staff is always super friendly and this place is never empty. That should say something right? I mean it really is good people. So if you haven't been, give it a try. It's better than all the wannabes :)

You'll never have fresher pizza. The ingredients are uber fresh and there's a maddening variety of toppings to choose from. The seating is a little "cafeteria-ish", yet tolerable. If you work in the PCT towers, you know better than to come here in the middle of the week during the noon rush, as the line can sometimes be out of the door. Anyway, great pizza and uber reasonable prices. They also have salads, though I've not yet tried their salads. Can't be too shabby, I imagine.

Love this place. Great pizza... Also see flyer they have...they support animal shelter adoptions...I'd give them a sixth star for that.

It's kind of loud in here and since you have to give your order to the person making the pizza it is kind of hard. Unless you are a naturally loud person. It is kind of messy at this location and the service isn't so great. The pizza isn't the best. My family and I come here typically when we are around the area but if there was a Blaze Pizza right next door then I would choose Blaze.

im starting to see this trend that chipotle has so masterfully pioneered and its like a build your own dish type of conveyor belt service. PizzaRev does a great job of executing this because instead of health conscious mexican food, its pizza! I asked for the gluten free crust because ive had both and they both taste the same imo.. with regular red sauce, cheese, little bit of pesto sauce, artichoke, bell peppers, olives, tomatoes, and garlic.. vegetarian style i know.. it was lunch on a wednesday gimme a break.. the biggest plus i give this place is because they charge by the pizza and not by the toppings.. take that! all you mainstream pizza franchises! pizzarev is on the rise

After having tried Blaze in Torrance and Pieology in Fullerton, my girlfriend and I next tried PizzaRev in El Segundo. As far as the basic concept goes, all three are pretty much identical. Much like customizing your food at Chipotle or Subway, here you start with a pizza crust, choose a sauce, pick a cheese, and then choose all your toppings. While you get your drink and find a place to sit, your pizza spends three minutes in a very hot oven and is ready soon after you take your seat. For only $7.99 the "craft your own" option lets you pick as little or as much as you want to top your pizza. I think there are more options here than at the other two places we'd tried, and unlike at Blaze those options were all posted so you could make up your mind while you wait in line. You can also choose an "our way" pizza with predetermined toppings for the same price, or start with one of those pizzas and then customize it. Like at Blaze, but unlike at Pieology, they don't bring your pizza to you. You have to listen for your name and go get the pizza yourself. One of the things I really like about PizzaRev is that they've got a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. This is a touch-screen soda fountain that gives you dozens and dozens of flavor combinations. Pick Diet Coke and then you'll be given the option to turn it into a Vanilla Diet Coke, a Cherry Diet Coke, etc. Or choose Mello Yellow and then add either cherry, orange, grape, or peach flavor. There are probably over a hundred soda flavors available. Amazing.

Compared to other similar build your own pizza places, PizzRev holds it down. Out of all the places I have tried, PizzaRev has the best crust. I like my pizza crust, thin but a little bit dense. PizzaRev does just that. Other places are too thin it feels like you're eating your pizza on a cracker or too thick that you're eating your pizza on a loaf of bread. Where PizzaRev falls short on is the variety of toppings. Other places have more and better variety. However, if you go for the simple toppings like pepperoni, bacon, onions, etc you will be fine. Thankfully they are not stingy with their toppings. However, be weary of putting too many toppings. Keep it simple. The person in front of me had so many toppings the person preparing it was molding it into a mountain/small hill so it all fits on the pizza. I would not necessary recommend that because her pizza didn't look cooked thoroughly because of how thick the toppings stacked. Check in on yelp and you will get 50% off a dessert item. Enjoy!

Pretty amazing pizza I ordered their pizza rev crust with sausage pineapples bell peppers feta and extra mozzarella pizza is delicious !! Little to thin for my taste (had red sauce too) they have that really cool soda machine with all the flavors too I didn't get to experience the building it myself part because I was on break from work I found this place through yelp .. It was nice the ambiance was what brings me down to three stars though very loud unruly crowd here there was kids EVERYWHERE ! not being tamed just running a muck, kids were running around blocking the exits blocking the soda machine throwing things and one came up to me and was tugging on my leg staring me down I suggest you get your food to go or request these multiple parents to get a leash ... Lol

Well I was in the mood for pizza on Saturday afternoon and was famished. Enter: Pizza Rev. The atmosphere in this place was very pleasant. There was a line of people in front of me, but I was very patient. I went for the original crust to start with. I figured if I'm going to go in and go with a place like this I'll make my own pizza. I decided that I'd go with the regular sauce, a mozzarella and Parmesan mix, with my own choice of meats as follows: spicy pepperoni and Italian sausage. I also added the following: spinach, pineapple, and jalapeños. Fresh ingredients and thin crust. Add a fountain drink and voilá! Lunch. It's a 10" pie that was not cut that well. Hence my pizza slices were tearing wrong. But it did taste well enough. My biggest disappointment was the temperature of the food. It was cold in no time. It seemed to be cooked properly. But it was just as well not cooked since it was not piping hot out of an oven. The crust around the edges was warm at best. I hope that if i ever go back, my pie will be a bit hotter. How about they "rev" up the oven's temp.

There are few things about Yelp that annoy me: 1) the fact that some people treat this like a dating (but serious if you're cute add me, i kid i kid i'm married...but you can still add me hahah) 2) And the fact that the Yelp scale of awesomeness only ends with 5 stars. I'm not a super classy guy (see the parenthetical side note on #1), but I know a good thing when I see it. Every once-in-a-while something awesome comes along that totally reclassifies & scrambles our preconceived categories for assessing awesome, PizzaRev is such a thing. PizzaRev is good, and I'm not just talking 5 star good, i'm talking we encourage the Webdevelopers of yelp superscript exponents over the ratings good. The pizzas are as good as you make them! If your pizza sucks, thats your fault! I see that people are posting their favorite pizza here so I thought i'd do the likewise, but you can just go on ahead and forget their recipes cause they're a bunch of posers. This is the real deal, The Josh Special. Regular pizza crust, with the red sauce mozzarella and Blue cheese. Then Pepperoni, Then Spicy Pepperoni, then Bacon & because your arteries need that extra lubricant Beef Pepperoni. Time for veggies, this is where we make mom proud: spinach, bell peppers, black olives, artichoke hearts, and banana peppers. By this point your pizza is tall enough for a mugshot, as it should be because if this pizza doesn't usher you into the presence of the Almighty himself then it'll kill you. Whatever YOLO (unless you're Jesus, he punched YOLO in the face)

Good, customizable pizza. Lots of ingredients to choose from and close to work. If they don't put enough of what you want, just tell them to add some more. More cheese please! If you have a bad pizza here, it's your own fault. They also have one of those fancy coke machines that lets you customize your drink and brewed tea. A million ways to eat here!

This is NOT the "Subway of Pizzas." No, Subway is the "PizzaRev of (not great) Sandwiches." PizzaRev, you are my everything. The staff is friendly and PRO (a cashier noticed a large party and networked in order to gain catering business... Impressive sales skills). They offer a dessert pizza (as a former Lunchables consumer, I love dessert pizza, even though I probably won't eat squeeze-packet fudge anymore). The crust isn't thick, so you can shove down the whole pizza in one sitting. But most of all... THEY OFFER SPICY PEPPERONI! Ladies and gentlemen, I'm a fan of salty, cured meats. If I can get "spicy" in there too, I'm SOLD. PizzaRev combines my fantasy of sausage, cheese and satisfyingly carby crust. This is my signature pizza: - original dough + red sauce - spicy pepperoni + sweet fennel sausage - mozzarella - mushroom + onion + tomato + garlic Just...trust me. #yawelcome

When YELP is better than PIZZAREV... As a first-time customer, I thought I would try and use your online ordering to place my order for your El Segundo, CA location. But after you search for the El Segundo location and hit the "order online" button, you get the "FAX ORDER" form, and not a way of ordering online. (I noticed the same form opens up when you try the Mid-City LA location as well.) pizzarev.com/locations-p… I phoned the store right now (3/12 @ 3:45pm), and explained the online problem, but the customer service person did not seem even half as worried about this malfunction that I did. I had to suggest she contact PizzaRev headquarters to resolve the problem, since you're losing sales from customers like me. Pretty sad that I seem to care more about the functionality of your website than your employees do. Dominos doesn't have this problem. Yet, when you use YELP to look up the PizzaRev location, it will actually direct you to the proper online order form!!! Obviously, there's a problem with the website functionality at PizzaRev, and someone in their I.T. department is not doing his job properly. Costing PizzaRev potential customers like me.

Thin crust pizza with unlimited toppings for $8. Not a bad deal. I got vegan cheese, veggies, and pineapple on mine. The workers were very friendly, and considering the number of people in line, things moved fairly quickly. Definitely high quality ingredients, a noticeable difference from the typical pizza hut/papa johns. The vegan cheese leaves a lot to be desired so I will just get cheese-less pizza next time; you get so many other options that I don't think it would be noticed. They have a happy hour deal form 4-6pm and after 830pm that is one pizza plus house red/white or selected beer for $9.95. I believe the special is only Mon-Fri though. Parking in the back can be a little tight because the lot is shared with other stores but I did see signs pointing towards additional parking, but since I found a space, I'm not sure where it went. Dessert pizzas are delightful as well; you get a choice of raspberry, chocolate, or caramel topping. Overall, quality pizza that doesn't break the bank. Try it out!

Whenever I go to Blaze Pizza I always craft my own with white sauce, parmasean, feta, and goat cheese. As far as meats are concerned, I go with grilled chicken. To top it all off, i pile on the mushrooms, spinach, bail, minced garlic, oregano, and a pesto drizzle. Since this is a freaking amazing pizza combination, I walked into Pizza Rev for the first time knowing I would order the same thing. However, I was pleasantly surprised that when it was time to pile the meat on my pizza, I saw that they had spicy chorizo! Blaze, why don't you have spicy chorizo? That's such a crime. Anyway, i added this to my white sauce pizza and as soon as I took a bite I was in love. Such flavor! That's what I'm talking about. It totally had my taste buds singing. Since my first visit, I've been a couple more times and I've yet to be disappointed. Glad to have them along with Blaze Pizza as one of my go to pizza places.

What do Legos and PizzaRev have in common? You both get to build your own! This place is the Chipotle of pizzas. Where possibilities of making your perfect pizza are endless! It's a step-by-step process where you first choose you dough (original or gluten-free), sauce (olive oil, red sauce, white sauce, BBQ), cheese (mozz, red-fat mozz, feta, bleu, ricotta) and 11 meats and 16 veggie toppings! My favorite combinations: original dough, with half white and half red sauce, easy on the mozzarella cheese, sweet fennel sausage, crispy bacon, mushrooms, green bell peppers, garlic, spinach. Tip: AVOID SOGGY CRUST! I tend to go crazy with the toppings, but less is better! Don't overload your pizza with too many toppings, otherwise your thin-crust will turn into a soggy crust. That is why I ask for easy on the cheese. I feel that is the main ingredient that will suffocate your pizza. Awesome blossom specs: - Daily homemade dough - Quality ingredients - Unlimited toppings - Roman-style thin & crispy crust - Fast & friendly service - State-of-the-art dispensable soda machine - Gluten-free friendly! What's not to love about PizzaRev? It's a pizza party everyday!

These build your own pizza places are popping up everywhere. I'm not sure which one can boast they were the first, but so far I've been to 2: Pieology and Blaze Fast-fired, and have been pleased with the products. Now I'm trying a 3rd one in El Segundo called Pizza Rev. Concepts are exactly the same: tell them what dough you want, what sauce you want, the cheese types, what toppings you want, and in 3-5 minutes you get a fresh thin crust pizza for $8.00. Check into Yelp and get 1/2 off a dessert pizza. There's also salads to add as a side or as an entree. Pizza Rev was delicious but I thought my pizza could have been cooked a tad longer. The vegetables were a little al dente. Parking here can be tricky. Drive slow or you'll past it! Its next to Which Wich and outside seating available. Seating is limited, so get here early.

My son's soccer team organized their end of season party here for Monday, December 15th around 7 pm. Positives: Lovely staff! There was a woman with many tattoos on her forearms making my pizza and she was so kind and patient to a first timer! Ambiance - beautiful seating in front of a fire pit outside! Cons: It was not my new favorite pizza. I wish it was because they were nice and it's a nice place. It is not bad pizza but it is just not my preferred pizza. I like my pizza thicker and greasier. I found it similar to Z Pizza (also in El Segundo). I still would recommend trying them, I would even give them another chance myself just because of how nice they were. Maybe I didn't pick the best one? (I had the Mediterranean)

This place is amazing every time I go in I receive amazing service from everyone. Last night I went in with my family and they were so busy and the employees were taking it very well. It seemed as if they were under staff so a few of them were going back and fourth but they got us through the line faster then I thought. Pizzas came out great cooked perfectly! I've been to other pizza places like this before but nothing compares to the service I received last night A+ restaurant my family's loves to come here even if it's a twenty minute drive from our house I recommend this location over the other ones! Thank you pizza rev employees keep up the great service

Great concept~ Just like Subway, Chipotle, the Counter, and Which Witch that serves personalized meals from the bread, meat, veggie and sauces, this is the first I see for pizzas. You walk along the counter where you can choose what you want starting from the dough and watch them create your personal pizza. What makes Pizza Rev different from the rest of the make your own places, you can put anything and everything on your pizza if you please (maybe not all the dough but sauces, cheese, choice of meat they are very generous!) I did a half and half pizza so I pretty much got to create 2 pizza in one visit :D Yes my ingredient picking skill is superb lol but I must say that their pizza is very fresh and tasty. Don't let the long line scare you away. The line goes really fast as you order and once your pizza goes in the oven, you only wait about 5 min. That's less than going to any pizza restaurant :) Also, this is pretty common in a lot of restaurants already, but they got that coke machine where you can make your own original coke (and other soda) flavor just by pressing buttons! SO FUN!

Kids meal is great! $6 pizza and drink and my kids eat it up. I love that they have thin crust, a good selection of toppings including spicy and regular pepperoni, sausages and chorizo. Also red and white sauce and light or regular cheese. They also cater to gluten free/dairy free! The crust is thin and I love this. They have a soda machine where you can make any soda you want! Old school, yeah! For dessert they sell cake monkey cake balls and cupcakes that resemble Ho-Hos but the fancy version. Also they have a really neat outdoor patio area with fire pits. During lunch hour it's really busy here but at night you can park easy and it's moderately busy but by no means crowded. I love it, you will too!

Execrable. Since the difficult part of a pizza is the dough, these guys have dispensed with the crust altogether and just pile toppings on a round matzo. Like a pizza made by someone who had heard about a pizza once.

***PizzaRev is a fun concept; it is a quick order-at-the-counter spots that utilizes the customization trend of Chipotle and Which Wich for pizza; the quality of the ingredients are just okay, but the concept is fun and the pizzas are fresh, hot, crispy, and (can be) flavorful*** PizzaRev is a relatively new chain (at least new in Los Angeles). It takes pizza and then utilizes the customization approach you see at Chipotle and Which Wich; it also offers one truly unique advantage--pizzas are $7.99 each and you have your choice of unlimited toppings. And despite PizzaRev making your pizza to order, pizzas take only about 5 minutes or so to come out. In terms of executing this build-your-own-pizza concept, PizzaRev does a good job. You get both a variety of toppings as well as a satisfying and decent quality pizza. The crust is very thin and crispy. Its crispy crust and thinness reminded me of Chicago style thin crust, box cut pizza. A gluten free crust is also available. For sauces, they offer a BBQ sauce, a white sauce and a traditional red sauce. The first pizza I ate here had just the right amount of sauce. There was too much sauce on my second visit and the sweetness of the sauce kind of ruined the flavors on the pizza. There are many protein options. You have the standard stuff like pepperoni and Italian sausage, but you also have the option to add chicken, anchovies, spicy pepperoni, beef pepperoni, sweet fennel sausage, and crumbled beef meatball. The quality was okay but nothing special (the crumbled beef meatball is where the lack of quality shows the most--the meatballs have too much breading and are dry; they also lack in flavor). They have a pretty good variety of vegetable toppings though maybe nothing that is truly out of the ordinary. You will find tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, artichokes, basil, and a few other options. I did like how you could also top your pizza with arugula and spinach, which eliminates the need to order a side salad. There are a few cheese options as well including a reduced fat option. Sides are probably not necessary here. The pizzas are definitely individual size and may seem small, but once you add toppings, the pizzas here can be very generous and filling. Prices are not bad if you add a lot of toppings. They feature only one size (individual) and, as mentioned earlier, toppings are unlimited. They do feature special deals/promotions throughout the week on certain days and times. The decor, like the decor in the other fast food eateries within this retail plaza, features a very clean, fresh and contemporary look. This order-at-the-counter spot features both indoor and outdoor seating. It gets very busy during weekday lunch. PizzaRev is a fun spot and it is a good option for a satisfying and not too expensive lunch or dinner. I might give it the edge over the other eateries in this complex (Rubio's, Five Guys, Which Wich), but I need to try it more to see if they consistently deliver a satisfying pizza. The quality of the ingredients are not great but okay for the price and if the concept intrigues you, it is worth giving it a try. The retail plaza that PizzaRev is in features its own free parking lot.

I freaking love this place. $7.99 for ANYTHING YOU WANT on a pizza? how can you go wrong? I've been to a few other excellent custom-pizza restaurants (800 degrees in Westwood being the most memorable), and those places charge per ingredient. At PizzaRev, everything is covered with the $7.99 price, and I love it. They have a great selection of sauces, cheese, meat, and veggies; I often get olive oil base with several meats (sausage, beef/spicy peperoni, chorizo), mozzarella + ricotta, arugula, spinach, and mushrooms, with some pesto on top. And it's still $7.99. Pizzas come out fast, service is excellent, and I loved coming here for lunchtimes during work.

This is the typical run of the mill build your own pizza joint. You can pile on as many toppings as you see fit, so its up to you how your pizza tastes. The normal and gluten free pizza crusts are good. Does it stand out from a Pie-ology or any other spot? No, but if you want a build your own pizza then stop on by.

Personal size (if you're hungry enough to eat the whole thing) pizza with unlimited toppings for $7.99. You can choose the sauce as well, although all the pizzas are made with a thin, crispy crust. I happen to love thin crust pizzas, so it works out great for me :) Good portions of cheese, good fun for the family or for a dinner date, and you can grab a beer with your meal if you like :)

If you like thin crust pizza and like creating your own pie, this is it. They let you choose a crust (gluten free crust available, for those of you who are allergic), sauce, and toppings, and they bake it for you in their pizza oven. I got mine with original crust, tomato sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, basil, and a little bit of garlic. It came out delicious! My advice is that even though you can put as much topping as you want, don't go overboard, because if you put too much stuff on it, the center of pie does not get cooked enough and you will end up with a soggier pizza... All in all, I like this place. Oh yeah, they have a cool soda machine too.

Man, I am a great pizza chef! Pizza Rev is one of those "craft your own" pizzerias. The one I just designed is excellent and was pretty quick. Good for kids and quick meals. I'll be back when I'm back I town for sure.

This place is pretty similar to Blaze Pizza. And, both are pretty good in my book. How could it not be if you're customizing your own pizza? If it comes out bad.. then... you just don't know how to make a good pizza. So, blame yourself, not the restaurant. There are lots of options of toppings you can get on your pizza here. There's also red, white, oil, and I think one choice you can get for your sauces. There's different kinds of cheese.. and there is even gluten free crusts! If you're craving dessert.. they have dessert pizzas too. I'd come back here. BTW, this place is better than Grimaldi's down the street on Rosecrans. :)

I love PIzzaRev and was looking forward to trying this location. When I went to LAX last week I took my parents, as well as my husband and son and they all enjoyed the food. Though my husband and I agreed the Studio City location is much better it was still pretty good and my parents are not easy to please. They had a plain pizza margherita as well as a make your own salad and loved both. My mom raved about the pesto that we both used as dressing and they really do have some of the best. The décor and atmosphere is a bit cold, Studio City more hip and bustling. They have young kids working here and it just doesn't have the same good vibe. Overall, we still loved it, loved the concept, will be back if I'm in the area again.

Great customer service! I ordered on-line for a salad, made to order. But, when it got to me, the salad was completely wrong. So was my co-worker's, who is vegetarian and ending up with salami in her salad. I ended up giving feedback on their websitr and that same day the manager emailed me and said that lunch for me and my co-worker would be on them the next time we dropped by. It was a really kind gesture and a few weeks later she made good on her offer. The pizzas we ordered were delicious and the manager was very nice.

It's a weekly dining experience for us. It's amazing how yummy the thin crust can truly be. Add as many toppings as you like and wash it down with a crisp coke or bah other beverage selection they have at the come machine. For those of you who love condiments pizza rev has got you covered with that as well! Free ranch, sirachi, Tabasco, cheese, pepper flakes and more. Nestled in a tiny plaza the restaurant is easily accessible and there's plenty of parking. It's also nice to sit outside by the fireplace but make sure to bring a jacket! Employees seem knowledgable but sometimes you've got guide them- they may put too much cheese on one end or too much marinara on the other- that can really mess with your pizza so be careful! Overall awesome pizza place and don't forget to check in!

We found a flyer on our door that included this establishment and thought we would give it a try. We weren't disappointed. It's bright and clean with staff all friendly and helpful. PizzaRev joins the revolution in the pizza industry for fast assembly-line pizza ready in less than 10 minutes. It's comparable to Subway or Chipotle in format ... and quality. For $7.99, you get a thin personal pizza with unlimited toppings. Keep it simple or load it up as much as you want. It's your pizza. Have it your way. The freestyle Coca-Cola machine brings more freedom with unlimited sodas and over 100 different flavor combinations available. I packed my pizza with Tomato Sauce, Basil, Shredded Mozzarella, Sausage, Jalapenos, Bacon, Ricotta, Onions, and Garlic. It was probably too much for the thin crust to handle, but I still ate the whole thing. Olivia kept her pizza simple with just Olive Oil, Mozzarella, Basil, and Tomatoes. Hers was better than mine. The pizzas are a steady 3 stars and good choice for the lunch crowd. On Mondays, they have a decent $40 family deal of 4 pizzas, 4 sodas, salad, and a dessert pizza. I need to get more friends ... and go back for that deal. Sadly, they don't have a liquor license, yet. For dessert, I tried what was billed as a "gourmet" ding dong from Cake Monkey, but was dry, uber-sweet, and seemed really old. It's nothing like the large gourmet ding dongs found at bakeries around the city these days. The 2-star ding dong definitely isn't worth the $4 or stomach space. It's always a good time for pizza, so, with unlimited standard toppings and design-it-yourself fast food pizza, PizzaRev in East El Segundo is an option for those working or living nearby.

$8.25 for pizza with whatever toppings. My first time here and it was amazing!!! Try the white sauce with pesto! AMAZING!!!!!

Great service, very friendly staff, great value for the buck. Our first time to pick and choose our toppings from what we see. My wife and I will visit again before we leave El Segundo in next few days.

This place is the reason I like pizza again! I love their thin crust. I love even more the fact that you can put on as many toppings as you want all for the same price. There's tons and tons of toppings to choose from! The wait is not long at all and the line moves fast. If you are debating between this place and 800 degrees, this place wins hands down. But if you want a soggy undercooked crust that flops all over the place when you eat, by all means, go to 800 degrees.

The bomb! Okay with that said I'd call this place the "Subway" of pizza joints. You start by picking your crust, sauce (yes you can pick bbq!) then add a huge variety of toppings. There is no limit to the amount of toppings you can add. The pizza is made right in front of you then baked to perfection....fast! All this for under $8.00! The size can be compared to a personal pan on steroids. A must try!!

Craft your own pizza for $7.99! I was excited to try out the newly opened Pizza Rev in El Segundo with my coworkers today! We came during lunch time and there was quite a long line. The line moved fast however and I was on my way to creating my own pizza aka Pizza Jenn G. Rev A! The concept of PizzaRev is very similar to other make your own pizza places but I found some ingredients here that I did not see at other places. For the pizza dough, they have their original dough or gluten free. I chose to get the original dough. I loved how thin the crust came out when it was baked. For the sauces, they have olive oil, red sauce, white sauce and BBQ sauce. I chose to get the white sauce. For the cheeses they have mozzarella, reduced fat mozzarella, feta, bleu and ricotta. I decided to get ricotta! This is my new favorite cheese topping! For the proteins, they have various pepperoni, bacon and sausages, as well as chorizo, meatball and anchovies. I chose to get sweet fennel sausage and crumbled beef meatball For the veggies, they have mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, pineapple, olives, basil, spinach, garlic and pepperoncinis. I got mushrooms, green peppers and pineapple. Lastly, you can top off your pizza with jalapeños, fennel seed, arugula, capers, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes. My last toppings were the arugula and sundried tomatoes! With all that I had my Pizza Jenn G. Rev A: original dough with ricotta cheese, sweet fennel sausage, crumbled meatball, mushrooms, green pepper, pineapple, arugula and sundried tomatoes! After creating my pizza, I was tempted to try one of their dessert pizzas (choice of toppings are raspberry, caramel and chocolate) or their cute raspberry red velvet chocolates but I decided to save these desserts for a future visit. My freshly baked pizza turned out to be very fulfilling and yummy! I even had half to take home! If this is how Rev A. of my first pizza at Pizza Rev is, I can't wait to see how Rev B. is, Rev. C. and more future revs at my future visits to Pizza Rev are....because I know I'll be back! This place is great!

Rather tasty. I like that you can pick what you want on your pizza. Next time I know to ask for it not so crunchy. I ordered a side salad but was actually full enough from the pizza. Their soda fountain rocks. I love that there are so many options. Diet A&W. Oh yeah!

  • Linda T.

The gluten free is some of the best in the area. I was very impressed. I wish they had a few more toppings options BUT they amazing crust and wood burning oven more than make up for it. I will be back!

  • Tom D.

The prices are right and the topping selection is extensive. The pizzas are personal size. The dough is thin crust-maybe a bit too thin. Better to call it a flatbread pizza, because that's what it is. Apparently no extra charge for additional toppings. Not bad. Other chains could take a lesson from this place...

Ariana has the best guest service! Her customer service is beyond amazing, The line is always long because the pizza is so good but with Ariana working the line it flowed Will return several times over Love this place!!!!!

Subway Pizza All pizzas are individual size (about 11" diameter) and $7.99. You pick the ingredients like you would at Subway. I can think of two comparisons. Dominoes Mon-Thurs you can get a large for $7.99 carry out only, with only three ingredients. The pro of dominoes is that you can feed 3, cons is that there is only three ingredients and the dough is not as thin or crispy. IF you were trying to feed several people, PizzaRev would be an expensive choice. 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria This is also a Subway Pizza type of place. Here there is always a line and the ingredients feel a little fresher - for example, the mozzarella is fresh balls that they need to separate and put on the pizza. PizzaRev has pre-shreeded cheese that looks like it came out of a bag. The 800 Degree pizza was quite a bit larger, but the dough got wet and ugly. PizzaRev had a much better crust, probably because they cook until done, whereas 800 Degrees cooks it for 60 seconds regardless. All in all, this is a really nice option for El Segundo. IF I'm eating by myself, this would be my first choice.

I don't know if it's because my boyfriend was starving or if it was because the pizza was amazing, but he inhale the entire thing in under 5 minutes. Actually - it's probably because of the latter and this is my winning recipe. Red and white mix sauce All the meats that look like pepperoni but in different tones of red. Spinach Double Garlic And maybe hot sauce to dip. The magic is in the thin thin thin crust and unlimited toppings. Love this idea and worth it! Note to self: Try white and olive oil mix

This place is basically like Chipotle for thin crust pizza. Say what? Why didn't I think of that? You walk in, and the friendly employee brings the dough out like Juicy J. The blanks are already pre-rolled, so you can go right ahead to the fun part: choosing the toppings. $7.99 buys you all the toppings you want, so feel free to go crazy. Tuna and pepperoni? Three types of cheese? You're the boss like Rick Ross. Finally, they throw your pizza in the oven (and it's a serious one!), and serve it fresh at your table. The crust is crunchy and literally paper thin, and the toppings were all of great quality. And to top it off, they got a deal going where for $9.99, you get a pizza AND a beer (so basically, add a beer to your pizza for two bucks), I think between 4-6 and after 8.30 EVERY DAY. Try as I might, I just can't find anything wrong with this place.

PizzaRev is decent. I eat here once a month and the pizza is good as are the prices. The crust is consistantly crunchy but the middle is a bit soft for my taste. I do like that its unlimited toppings for the same price. I like competitors like Blaze more but again it is filling each and everytime we go here.

06 Mar 2014, 11:30a Second visit here meeting a friend for lunch. I ordered online again for an 11:45a pickup and the pizza was already in the oven when I arrived. I had to wait for my friend to go through the line and order his pizza so mine was ready before he got to the cashier. I ordered the same pizza as last time, half red sauce, half white sauce with everything except pineapple, bbq sauce and frank's red hot sauce. I opened the box and discovered the pizzas are now smaller than before. They also failed to include my pesto sauce! I asked my friend about his experience going through the line and he said at Blaze Pizza, a competitor, they listen better when you tell them what toppings you want. I don't remember what he said he asked for, but they started putting fennel seed instead on his pizza. He also said they seemed to be a little more organized at Blaze. Pizza still tasted good, albeit smaller and with less toppings, but there was still a good mix of all the toppings. My pizza was slid off the peel into the box up against the back side and was not straightened out before cutting, so it was a bit oblong and sliced misshapenly. This easily could have been remedied, in addition to the missing pesto sauce, if the employees are trained a little better. The cashier is the person who cuts the pizzas and puts in the after-oven sauces. Waiting by the register, I noticed there were plenty of chances between customers for them to do things right, so it's not like they were so busy they didn't have the time. Bottom line, I'll still probably frequent this location, but will lament how it will never again be as good as it was the first time.

Came here for the first time yesterday and oh boy was the pizza delicious. My head felt like it was going to explode just trying to figure out what I wanted on it. Dinning room was clean, employees friendly and helpful and if my stomach could handle it, I would have ordered more!!!

PizzaRev is another choose your own adventure eatery. Next door to WhichWich and 5 Guys you'll be faced with a long line during the lunch rush. The pizza is acceptable, if just a little extra greasy. Its a thin crust which i like, but if you're expecting an actual doughy crust you'll be sad. I suggest picking just a few toppings with a certain theme rather than dumping a bunch of random toppings that don't mix well. They also got a coke remix machine which can be just as daunting as building your own pizza.

BOMB pizza eevveerryy time. Quick, fresh, gone in 60 seconds. I love their thin crust and their dessert cookies are like a little piece of heaven. They also have lunch specials where you can get pizza with a beer, just check the hours. Pizza Rev is one of our favorite go to spots :)

I LOVE this place it's great all the choices for toppings can't go wrong here! To start the dough offs made fresh you can choose the type of sauce or even mix them all together the cheese selection is great and just sooooooooooo many toppings to choose from for a great price.I would recommend this place all day every day. Service is great they are very friendly. When my office wad originally moved over top this area I was alike depress but PIZZA REV has been the bright side of the move!

Much better than Blaze pizza down the street and a very similar concept. I actually liked the thin and crispy crust and the large assortment of fresh toppings. Only downside was the tomato sauce as it tasted like it came just out of a can. I also would've loved a few more veggie topping options. Very quick, efficient service and hits the spot when craving pizza. When am I not craving pizza?!

Fastfood pizza chipotle style! :D +Located in a plaza with all the other go to lunch spots like five guys, which which, sabra beirut mix & Rubio's. +Parking lot available +Speedy personalized pizza made pronto! You order your pizza like how you order your food at Chipotle or Subway. You go through the counter step by step and as you move through, you advise the employee which ingredients on the display should be added to your personalized pizza. Super easy! +I think it took less than 5 minutes to get my pizza after I paid for my meal. Super quick! +They have variety of choices for the dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings! +LOVE thin crust pizza. love love love. I honestly thought going to PizzaRev is definitely spot on and a safer bet than being adventurous and going to random pizzeria that's mediocre. I speak from experiences guys. I've went to at least 5 or 6 pizza places to try out and they were all way less tastier than PizzaRev. +You can place customized order online in advance so you can just pick up your pizza when you get there. :) +BTW, my customied pizza was AH-mazing. Just FYI. Feel free to try it if you'd like! My order: pizzarev's original dough, red sauce, mozzarella cheese, extra mushroom, spinach, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, garlic, and basil. -Lunch hour gets packed here! Meaning their small parking lot gets jam packed also and it will be hard to find a parking. :(

I'm usually not a pizza fan, but I LOVE Pizza Rev. The pizza is thin crust but sturdy enough to hold all the toppings. The build your own pizza option is $8 per pizza, with unlimited toppings, so if you want a little bit of everything, you don't need to pay extra. So far I've tried both the white and BBQ sauces and have liked both, but the BBQ is my favorite. They have a ton of meat options (bacon, chorizo, chicken, meatballs, etc.), cheeses, and tons of toppings. I love that they have just garlic as one, because I adore garlic, but they also have fancier options, like kalamata olives and artichokes (yum!). They bake the pizza right there for you and you can ask to add a finishing sauce (I like the hot sauce or the pesto). If you want to eat there they have a cute little patio area, and they currently have a little M-F happy hour (pizza and a beer for like $10). Also, if you need to be quick, you can order your pizza online and just swing by to pick it up. Nice option for those busy weeknights!

I'm obsessed with this pizza joint! I came in assuming that it would be like all the other build your own pizza places. The gluten free, & vegan cheese are what intrigued me. Other places charge $3 for gluten free crust & $2 for vegan cheese with only 3 toppings. Pizza Rev charges only $2 for the gluten free crust & $1 for vegan cheese with UNLIMITED topping options. It's amazing!! Regular crust with endless toppings only comes up to $7.99. Super affordable! Can't go wrong coming here, & their staff is extremely friendly & helpful. This place is definitely going to be my go to pizza joint.

Similar style to 800 Degrees in Westwood, but I think they have better prices, more options, and overall a more casual experience. I enjoyed the pizza I made at PizzaRev, and they made it simple to pick out topics and build my own creation. The style is similar to Chipotle, but with pizza. You make, you pay, you sit, you eat. It's a solid setup. Apparently you can order ahead online and just grab when you show up. Seems like a solid plan. Add friendly staff to the mix, so it's worth a visit.

Build your own pizza for around $7. I believe this one has beef pepperoni so that's a plus for me because I don't eat pork.

  • Cleophus B.

Pizza with unlimited toppings, a choice of 4 sauces, and the option for a half and half pizza...oh yeah, I approve!! If I'm not mistaken, PizzaRev is Chipotle's pizza chain. That should be all the recommendation you need.

    (5)
  • Phil B.

I will start by saying that Pizza Rev is a great concept. Basically their model is: create your own pizza at a reasonable price. I had the Mediterranean pizza. All that I can really tell you about it is that it was average. I got it to go and by the time I got home the pizza was extremely flimsy and didn't keep very well on the ride home. It was edible but not the most enjoyable pizza eating experience I've had. I'm not a huge fan of thin crust pizza but when I eat good thin crust pizza, I appreciate it. I'd like to say more about the place but I think I could most accurately sum up my feelings by calling it "meh".

  • Sophia O.

I liked the assembly line style of pizza making. They asked you exactly what you wanted on your personal pizza, and it was delicious. The outdoor seating was cool, although I had my pizza to go. They had a good selection of drinks, alcoholic and non.

  • Jet J.

Not bad for a fast food pizza. I have tried a a simple concept by my house but I like the sauce here better it's not that sour. For the price and convince I would come here again with the family.

  • Jeff P.

What happens when you smash together pizza with Chipotle's approach to food? You get PizzaRev! PizzaRev makes custom-made pizzas in a Chipotle-like assembly line. You can pick from a plethora of high quality ingredients as you go down the line. The selection of topping choices can be a bit overwhelming. Because there's no extra charge for toppings, it can get dangerously tempting like a kid in a candy store. You can build your pizza as high as mountain just like you do at Mongolian BBQ joints, but it'll make your pizza really soggy and messy... You'll basically need a knife and fork to eat it if you build it that way. If you're into that, then good for you. If you want your pizza crispy, you'll need to exercise some restraint and limit yourself to just a select few toppings to allow the pizza to cook easier. Personally, I prefer the crispy pizza, but it's up to your preference. It can get quite busy during lunch hour, but the whole assembly line and giant open oven makes the line move pretty quick. If you see a line, just stick around because it moves pretty fast. For like 9 bucks, you'll get high quality, custom-made pizzas to your liking in less than 10 mins. This is definitely my go-to pizza joint when I'm craving some pizza.

  • Cheryl B.

Oooohhh, I like this idea! As many toppings as you would like for only $7.99 AND it only takes a few minutes to cook? My niece and nephew like this place because they can order their pizzas just they way they like it and not have to pick off the toppings that I like. There is also a kids pizza (cheese or pepperoni only) that comes with a drink and dessert for only $5.99. Overall I want to give this place a solid 4 stars because I like the idea and I enjoyed my pizza the two times I've been here but I have to give it a 1-star deduction because some of the staff members (not all!) that I interacted with are unfriendly. Service with a smile goes a long way.

I wanted a few weeks to write this but not very happy with this location .... Pause 17.05 for cold and raw pizza ... Ordered online picked a time showed up only half the order was ready.... Wait ten min for the other half while the one pizza was cold when I got the other pizza home it was raw ... The manager agreed with me when I asked him to keep my other Liza somewhere it would stay warm and when I told him the point of ordering online is to walk in and show up and go ... Talked to store manager who said she refunded my order she did not ... They say they do something and never fallow thru .. They told me I was welcome back for a free meal but I don't want to get sick from under cooked food ...please save your money and don't go here ... Shame could be good food if you want a side of attitude with a dash go f yourself and you can wash it all down with a nice big glass of food Bourne illness .... Sad sad sad

Where else could you get unlimited toppings on your pizza besides at home?? Next time I stop by this place I will go easy on some of the toppings but nonetheless it was a great experience. Never knew blue cheese on my pizza would be a game changer. So much better than 800 degrees!!

PizzaRev First off, if you're an "I love East Coast pizza and all other pizzas suck" person, then you'll probably think this pizza sucks. However, if you're open to different types of pizza (Chicago deep dish, California Pizza Kitchen "gourmet" pizzas, etc.), I think you just might like PizzaRev. You order your pizza like you'd order a Subway sandwich or a Chipotle burrito - in line, selecting each ingredient as you walk down the line. To start, the dough is thin, saltine cracker thin, but not as crunchy (this might depend on how many toppings and how long they cook it) and slightly larger than a normal personal sized pizza. They put the dough on this automated machine that compresses it into a circle on a serving plate (I saw different sized results, hope they pick a bigger one for your pizza!). Just like the menu: 1. They ask your name and you choose your dough - Regular or gluten-free dough for those who really need it (and those who think it's trendy). 2. At the same station, you choose your sauce - Red, white, BBQ or olive oil (I'm guessing you can ask for more than one but that might make the thin crust a bit too soggy). 3. For us, the same guy has us choose the cheese(s) - This is the beginning of the fun part. You can choose as many cheeses and toppings as you'd like. They will spread them on top of each other if you order more than one (as they did for us). For cheeses, they offer mozzarella, reduced-fat mozzarella (really? You're having a pizza, why skimp here?), feta, blue cheese and ricotta. 4. Choose your topping(s) - Where the fun continues. Lots of good toppings (think kid in a candy store good), create a meat topped pie for your carnivores and a veggie topped pizza for your vegetarians or mix and match. They have three types of pepperoni, two types of sausage, chorizo, meatball, Canadian bacon, crispy bacon, grilled chicken, and, if you must, anchovies. For veggies, they have mushrooms, onions, green bell peppers, tomatoes, pineapple, black olives, kalamata olives, basil, spinach, garlic, jalapenos, fennel seeds (really?), arugula, capers, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes. Then you pay for your pie and/or order a drink. All pies are $7.99 regardless of the number of ingredients added and if you eat there, they have one of those 100+ soda machines that allow you to select almost any flavor soda you'd like (free refills too!). If you pile it high enough, and have a little self control, you'll have enough for two meals. But, if you're hungry and are going to work it off later, indulge! We both enjoyed out pizzas and had enough left over for a second meal for each. Hope you get a chance to try it and enjoy it as much as we did. Bravo!

Always eat at this place for lunch. The pizzas are very customizable and there are a lot of toppings choices. I have never tried the salad but you can't go wrong with the pizzas. I have gotten the same toppings every time I come here and I still don't get tired of this place. During March, there was an awesome promotion where you could get a pizza and pay $2 more for a beer! Hope they bring that back.

Came here today on a lunch date with the husband since he works near by. He says it's always busy. We got there around 11:30 and already the line was out the door. It was my first time there so he let me build our pizza! They have pizza combinations that you can choose from or you can build your own pizza. They are both $7.99 for a pizza that is about 10 inches in diameter. You can have unlimited toppings, but as with any place where you build your own whatever, it's important to keep your choices balanced. We went with a regular crust (they have a gluten free option for $2 extra), tomato sauce (other options are white sauce, BBQ, and olive oil), and mozzarella cheese (I believe they have fat free mozzarella, feta, ricotta, and a couple other options that I'm blanking on right now). For meat, I went with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and crispy bacon. For the "veggies", I went with basil, mushrooms, and arugula. I feel like there are more meat options than veggie options! Not a bad thing in my book! We also ordered a Caesar side salad. The food came out relatively quickly and even though there were lots of people waiting, there was still available seating. The salad was actually very good. It comes with a giant container of dressing and it seemed like it was home made. The pizza was DELICIOUS! The crust was tasty and nice and thin and crunchy. The toppings all melded together and it was a beautiful thing to behold. Great addition to El Segundo and despite the lines, I would be more than happy to go back!

5 stars. +Friendly and attentive service +Customizable pies (don't like cheese? No problem!) +Good ingredients and great pies +Catering options for large groups/events +Wine, beer on tap +Coke Freestyle machine +Nice patio area with a stylish sit-around firepit (although a couple more patio heaters would've been great for the adjacent tables) =Hosted a small birthday party here with their catering package. Viviana was a great walking us through the catering options and putting in our order prior to the event. Jacques B and his crew were real rockstars, providing us and our guests with a top notch experience and checking on and attending our group's needs often. We want to call out Jacques hospitality and efforts throughout our stay. The pies were great and our guests were delighted as many of them had not been to a Pizza Rev before. Good food and a "customer is king" approach to service... yeah, it;s really that simple. "Woohoo! As good as it gets!".

I've been hearing about Pizza Rev for a few weeks, from Jen. She's a fan and likes the large choices of toppings. I was glad we went here this past Monday, and was impressed with the speed and efficiency of their system. The pizza tasted pretty good and the crust was super thin. I liked the variety of beverages with the coke machine. I don't drink soda, but they had a large number of non-soda drinks too. First time I ever tried lime dasani, hehe. Jen treated me to dinner, which was nice. :) The fire pit outside was neat, but was weird with the cage around it. I have never seen a cage around a fire pit before, as I figured most people know not to jump in.

New Pizza Rev in El Segundo! I've been to the Pizza Rev in Northridge and this one is just as good. Custom made pizzas with your choice from a wide variety of options. This is thin crust pizza that is quick fired in the oven for a couple of minutes then served to you piping hot. The concept is terrific and the execution is good. Service can be a bit slow because of customers trying to decide what topping to use on their pizzas. Good food at a great low price.

  • Christine T.

For $7.99, you get to craft your own pizza with unlimited choice of toppings OR you can choose from one of their pizzas. I went with the original rev dough, olive oil for sauce, ricotta and mozzarella cheese, topped it off with sausage fennel, garlic, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke, basil, and arugula. The pizza was nice and thin but thought it was too crispy. I like the texture of my pizza to be a bit chewy. It was nice that I was able to order and get my pizza within 15 minutes during rush hour. Pizza Rev is located in a busy plaza with other eateries. Parking during lunch time can be a pain but there is an additional lot in the back you can park for free as long as you show the attendant your receipt of purchase. PS. They're in the process of getting their alcohol license. **They offer glutten free dough for an extra $2

We ordered a pizza to go for our kids. When we opened the box we realized how horrible our pizza looked. Half the pizza ends looked like the pizza had been eaten. This is the worst custom build pizza place we have ever been at. Blaze and Pieology pizzas came out looking like normal pizzas.

Gluten-free & dairy-free pizzas! You can make your own pizzas from a variety of toppings and sauces. I got the 'olive oil' instead of red or white sauce - which made the thin crust extra crispy and the dessert pizza. My first time for dessert pizza which was scrumptious - cinnamon, powdered sugar and caramel topping - since the crust is thin - didn't feel like a lump in your stomach - just delicious! Wish they had one of these up in my neck of the woods.

my pizza this time was not so good. not that it was bad, but there were too many sun dried tomatoes. they were tough and super salty. on top of it all, there were these powdery stuff that was on the pizza crust and it seemed like msg. i got unnaturally drowsy after i ate half that pizza, and i wasn't even full. i must have drank a whole pint of water after that too. kept getting thirsty through out the rest of the day. not a good feeling... don't want to do that again.

I've been meaning to check this place out since they opened because I pass by it everyday. I like the idea of the assembly line create as you go pizza, but maybe I'm a tad spoiled by having an 800 Degrees around the corner from my office. The man behind the glass that assisted me in building my custom pizza was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I just wish my pizza was just as good, but it fell short. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything that is going to bring me back for more. The entire time I just kept comparing it to 800 Degrees, which has better quality ingredients, better beer and more of a variety. This is just my preference, but I know many people that love the pizza here.

Move over subway, five guys and any other name your toppings as you go food place because PizzaRev really has it all! *To start I would like to say there is only one size, the personal size BUT that isn't a bad thing in this case unlike most this personal unlimited name your own toppings is enough to fill you up even when you are very hungry! :)* this thin crust pizza is a crispy melt in your mouth delight! This place has so many good things about it so let me list them before I rant on -Great food, taste and quality! -Fast friendly service, no hassles or mistakes -Reasonable price, I know everywhere is $5 large 1 topping now and days and you're like wtf 7.99 for a personal but trust me it is worth it (just don't go overboard on toppings as it is a small thin crust) -Deals! Just for checking in I got a sweet desert pizza for $2, they also have a very nice four person group deal AND a 21+ drink and a pizza deal (i took photos of all the deals and posted them on here) -***The Coke Freestyle Machine*** probably the biggest plus besides the taste of food for me atleast, I hate having no drink choices or asking for a refill or even worse paying for refills, here I can get as many cups of my Cherry-Vanilla Coke as I want (or try one of the other 100+ flavors) -condiments, they have a nice small selection of condiments for your pizza including Saracha, crushed red peppers, and a few different hot sauces, I know its not a huge thing for some people but for me its a big plus to add more spice to my pie ;) If I had to point out anything bad it would be the location for me (although I work at LAX) and the parking other then that no issues :) -CodyBear6 ^__^

Great pizza where you get to build to your satisfaction. Pick your crust, sauce, cheese and toppings. Fast, friendly and quality at a reasonable price. You can also order online.

$7.99? Unlimited topping? No way! Not very hard to parking, even during the lunch time on weekdays. I always love thin pizza with a lot of meat, a lot of veggie. Everything that I love on ONE pizza, just so amazing! When I saw they hardly put more stuff on my pizza, I feel so satisfied. I usually get it for lunch on workdays, there were many people, very loud, they can't hear my name, and put a different name for me every time, its ok, as long as I know that's mine.

For $8, you can get a personal sized pizza. You can either create your own, or order one of their pizzas. I ordered the Skinny Margherita of tomato sauce, mozzarella, chunks of fresh tomatoes, sliced basil, and garlic. I topped it with oregano, grated Parmesan cheese, and red chili flakes. The pizza is cooked in a clay oven for just three minutes, and it comes out with a crispy, thin crust. It was good, and I ate just half of it, which was enough to fill me up for a couple of hours.

This review is for the order I just placed over the phone. I called a lil over an hour ago to place a pick order for 5:15. I came in 10mins early and these fools haven't started my order. Yet my ticket order was at the cashier counter just sitting there and the place was empty. Another negative is that their online ordering system was down which is the most convenient feature they have because these guys can't aren't capable of taking orders over the phone. Other than that, the pizza is good and you can have unlimited toppings.

I love PizzaRev! It's a perfect combination of a Chipolte and a traditional pizza restaurant. PizzaRev offers a huge selection of toppings, sauce and even three types of pizza crust. The combinations of pizzas are endless and you might be tempted to try new styles that you've never considered before. PizzaRev one of those fancy coke soda machines that serve over a hundred different variations of sugar cola. That's nice and all, but I'm much more tempted by either iced tea or the beer selection on tap. (e.g., Longboard) As of this week, the staff is still very friendly. My stellar rating is "as compared" to other comparable fast food restaurants. Definitely give PizzaRev a try for lunch.

My sister and I stopped by PizzaRev to grab a quick lunch before heading to the airport. We definitely LOVED the pizza. Food: Build your own personal pizza with as many toppings as you want. The crust is thin and crispy, while the toppings are fresh and tasty. Delicious and light. A custom pizza just the way you like it cost $7.99 Service: The service was great. Everyone was friendly and our pizza came out quite quickly. Parking: Parking at this location can be a pain during prime lunch hours. I use to work in the area and it was always difficult to find a parking spot due to the many offices nearby.

Had the best gluten free Pizza here!! They truly keep it gluten free by storing, preparing and cooking it separately, awesome! I like to keep my pizzas simple, but all the fresh ingredients they have to choose from made that difficult, everything was tasty! You can also get a glass of wine or a beer to compliment your perfectly cooked and prepared pie. Wonderful experience, definitely going back!

Zpizza had me for years but this is now the best vegan pizza around. May I suggest toppings: capers, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes and jalapeños. Thats all you need. The above combination with vegan cheese was the best pie I've ever had. You wouldn't try this for me on your next visit to pizza rev would you?

My son and I visited this location tonight. It was a very unpleasant experience. Just prior to making my son's pizza, the preparer proceeded to accidentally drop a capped Sharpie permanent marker pen into the pizza sauce. She took it out and put it to the side with pizza sauce on it, and seemed to have no reaction as she proceeded to continue to make the pizza. I was horrified. Then I observed another preparer wiping her nose on the back of her hand. If it wouldn't have been late and my son was not there wanting Pizza, I would have walked out. The preparer making my pizza appeared to not know what she was doing. I had a simple white pizza with cheese, mushrooms and garlic. You would think that would be hard to mess up. I think she must have only put maybe 6-8 small pieces of mushroom on the whole pizza, so it ended up being a cheese pizza with garlic. I was so disgusted at that point I did not say anything. It was so greasy that I walked out of the restaurant burping. I noticed food on customer tables and a customer counter. I watched employees walk by several times and not attempt to clean it, even when customers were sitting down. One looked right at it with a rag in her hand! I think it was the lack of cleanliness and hygiene that was most concerning, however food quality was just not up to par as well. And it wasn't busy. There were as many employees as customers. I like the concept of this restaurant, and have liked this location in the past. I just think that the caliber of employees has really gone down, and/or they just don't care. What is unfortunate is that the last time I reviewed this location I was very satisfied and gave it 5 stars.

Delicious pizza with vegan and gluten-free options. Great happy hour special after 8:30 that let's you get a whole pizza and a beer for $10. I've eaten here many times and the pizza has always been perfect. Ask for the pesto sauce on top (it's delicious).

  • Kristi C.

I'd heard plenty of people rave about this spot, so my family and I tried it out....SOLD! First, I adore thin crust pizza! That alone was good enough for me. I love the fact that you get to pick your own fresh toppings (as much as you like) for the low price of $7.99. The side salad was basic, yet, good. All I need for them to do now is add wings to the menu, and I'd be there once a week.

It's a good place to go get an individual, custom (if you want) pizza for 8 bucks. As one of my coworkers put it, it's the "Subway of pizza" in that you move along down a station of ingredients and have them put whatever you choose. I liked the White Mushroom with arugula, which they smartly put on the side. Yummy!

PizzaRev Craft Your Own. Slogan doesn't match the service anymore. I used to come here for lunch and the people behind the glass would have a smile on their face and load up the pizza anyway you wanted and compliment your creation when we were done. Now all you get is "what's your name" the last 3 times I've gone I didn't even get asked what kind dough I wanted. When you tell someone you can get anything you want on your pizza it would be a great idea to do that for the customer. Seems like no one is happy working there anymore, kind of sad. There is a guy who works the dough machine looks like an inmate making license plates. What I hate the most now from this place is the when I ask for pepperoni and the girl only puts 5 on the pizza and I ask for more she puts on a shit face like I'm taking away from her kids, again goes back to "Craft Your Own" not anymore. Mind you all I get in my pizza is pepperoni and nothing else. My reviews for restaurants are based mainly on the service you get from the people helping you with your food which is why I give it 2 stars. I've never really had bad food anywhere. All and all the service here is starting to suck

This is a good and convenient pizza place. Pros: you choose your own mini size pizza toppings for a flat rate ($7.99)....The staff is friendly....They sell beer and wine...Between 4 to 6 and 8:30 to closing they offer a $10 beer/wine and pizza special.... I personally enjoy their thin crust and red sauce. Next time I'll have to try the white sauce. Cons: none I can think of :)

It's amazing how putting so many toppings on there doesn't make it soggy. I pretty much picked everything. The pesto sauces is key. $7.99 is a good price for this. Pile it on!! Just not during peak lunch hours. Avoid the masses by showing up at 11:45.

I love the concept of building your own pizza with so many options for toppings, however I would have to say that I am a bigger fan of Blaze Pizza than PizzaRev. They are very similar with pretty much the same prices, but I like the signature pizzas at Blaze more than at PizzaRev, and it just seemed to be a little more hip and chic over at Blaze. Even still, if I'm in this area again I would definitely do another PizzaRev....good stuff.

After everyone's rave reviews about this place, I finally tried it with a friend of mine for lunch. I'm a fan and will definitely go back.. maybe for their happy hour! My friend got the fennel sausage pizza and I got the white sauce mushroom garlic one and both pizzas were delish.

This is a great concept for the fast-casual crowd. The pizzas are prepared quickly and cooked well. If you don't like your toppings, you can blame yourself since you're the one who chose them :-) One area for improvement: People on the building line could try to smile once in a while. Smiles are free and they buy a lot of customer satisfaction.

    (4)
  • Brock A.

Ok. I'm definitely a fan, but only after learning my lesson on my first visit. On my first visit, I loaded on the toppings. The only problem in doing so is that the more toppings, the longer it takes to cook. However, if you don't request to leave the pizza in the oven longer for a crispier crust, they'll likely take it out too soon, resulting in a pizza not fully cooked in the middle. However, even with slightly under cooked crust in the middle, the taste was still great. On my second trip, I took it easy on the toppings, but still requested that the pizza was left in the oven longer for a crispier crust. It came out perfect. I have not tried the white sauce or the bbq pizza yet. Maybe next time.

Came in tonight with some friends to enjoy a good dessert pizza. I have comes here multiple times and I think it's a really good place over all because of it's good prices and taste...overall it's an amazing place to come and enjoy a good and inexpensive meal... However this time the girl that made my pizza was extremely rude as was treating her co worker like shit I front of me and my friends... I saw her roll her eyes and just make her co worker feel stupid... And she cut my pizza extra small

7.99 is the price you pay for a 8 inch thin crust pizza with unlimited toppings to choose from ( check their website because it is a lot ). Then you have a coke machine with 180 flavors to choose from. Meaning I enjoyed my Vanilla Coke. Thanks to them I will go home and make my own pizza which honestly my version is better but I would come back for the Coke Machine.

  • Edward H.

This place is awesome for the price. If you feel like they are not putting enough ingredients you can always ask them to put more, or just straight out ask for the double or triple portion. I saw another customer go crazy with this and her pizza was about 2 inches high of toppings. Just remember, the more toppings you put on, the longer it will take to bake. Also, check out the 100+ drink fountain. I am currently drinking my way through all of the grape flavored drinks. Going on to peach next!

I'm trying this new thing where I eat certain food that makes me feel "good." Let me be more specific. I'm talking about food that doesn't make me want to take a 12 hour nap afterwards (that usually happens when I indulge in an MSG-overload meal. Shout out to Tatsu, Bao Dim Sum and Johnnie's in West LA. Those are my ride-or-die places). Because of my busy schedule of full-time work and school, I have to be somewhat particular about what I eat otherwise if I'm not, I'm either sleeping the rest of the day or trying to squeeze in a two-hour session at the gym, which I can't make the time for. Besides, that's stupid. So, I keep a journal of certain foods that maintain my energy and that "good" feeling that still enables me to muscle through the day. Needless to say, Pizza Rev is noted. Granted, I don't just eat any pizza there. I try to minimize the cheese and create a salad on a pizza by putting all veggies on their perfectly thin crust. Salad on a pizza? Yes, I said it and I know I sound like a jerk. But trust me, it's good. I can finish my entire pizza and not feel grossly full, which again, is what I aim for these days. I also feel like I'm totally treating myself, too. I love that I can put as many toppings as I want and they won't charge me ridiculously for anything extra. What's there not to love about this place? Oh, yeah. The circus they have there on Friday and Saturday nights. Patrons let their kids run around like crazy and scream at the top of their lungs (no exaggeration here). Just a warning. Cheers to happy eating!

  • A N.

Love the fact you can choose your own toppings and the quantities. I like lots of onions on my pizza so I just keep asking them to add more. No problem. Also the pizza is thin crust so you taste more of the toppings instead if dough. If you like thick crust look elsewhere. The soda machine has over 100 options that you select from a digital screen which is cool.

"So, do I have to pay extra for each topping?" "No sir, you get ALL the toppings that you want." "All the toppings? As much as I want?" "Yes sir, all the toppings, as much as you want!" A single tear rolled down my cheek. They had me at "All the toppings" They had me at "All the toppings"

I liked the concept of 'build your own pizza'. The pizza was delicious and the crust was thin and crispy. It was also ready in a few minutes. I just wish they weren't so stingy with the toppings because it cost $7.99 and it's not that big. Overall it was good and I wouldn't mind eating here again. I do hope the eating area is changed, it's difficult to walk between the large chairs without bumping into tables.

I heard about Pizza Rev about a year ago while I was working in the valley. The lady just said is like "Chipotle" but for pizza. This concept is a fantastic and Pizza Rev executes this concept wonderfully. For you first timers. The staff is incredibly helpful so don't even look at the menu, unless you are a manly man and don't like asking for help than by all means figure the place out yourself, but what my girlfriend and I did was just ask one of the lovely pizza masters behind the counter. Before I left I asked for their names on shift so I can specify who made our experience wonderful. The three men were: Gustavo, Mike and Shawn? Now back to it. THE PIZZA IS THIN CRUST, but it's not hard and it is delicious. This is coming from a person who hates thin crust. They get a ball of dough and they place it in this red hydraulic machine of pizza heaven that smashes it into a lovely pizza with a radius of 6 inches. That's a diameter of 12 inches. Than they place your choice of sauce, I usually get red Now time for cheese. They have traditional mozzarella but you can also get feta, blue cheese and ricotta. The feta and mozzarella is a great combo Than it is time for meats I get spicy pepperoni which is not spicy Now for the veggies. They do have a lot of traditional and not so traditional ones. I get Kalamata Olives, and mushroom. Finally they place all that stuff into a hot fire room for baby pizzas where it cooks to perfection I finally ordered the pizza dessert thanks to Gustavo's recommendation. It was absolutely delicious. I prefer the white sauce. I don't want to say what it is made of. You will just have to go in a find out yourself. Thank you so much guys for a great experience!

I LOVE PizzaRev! I come here pretty often and it never disappoints. The employees are always friendly and no matter how long the line gets, your pizza is always ready in very little time. The price is great and the size of the pizza is perfect for one person. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from and even offer gluten-free crust as well as vegan and low fat cheese options. Their custom made pizzas are so DELICIOUS. I must say, PizzaRev is my favorite go-to pizza place. The El Segundo location is the only one I've been to and it's awesome- even the parking lot is great; I never struggle to find a spot.

The concept of being able to get what you want is great and there's plenty of ingredients to try different combinations - the first pizza will always take a while to order. The best part is that the pizza comes out very hot and fresh by the time it's out of the oven. Good for when you and your friends can't decide on a common denominator for toppings.

Pizza Rev has awesome fresh pizzas. You choose all the toppings and you're pizza is ready in 5-10 minutes. They have different sauce options, meat options, and tons of veggies to choose from. For $7.99 you can't beat it! The staff is nice and the place is clean and have a lively environment. Try their dessert pizza when you come in! You won't be disappointed!

Great pizza for a great price! Make your own custom pizza for $7.99 before tax. My pizzas, Spicy Supreme Red - I just named it ;) Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella, Beef pepperoni, Italian and fennel sausages, red onions, green bell peppers, mushroom, basil and jalapeno. White Chicken Club - I also just named this one. White (alfredo) sauce, mozzarella, crumbled feta cheese. chicken, bacon, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, red onion, minced garlic, basil Both came on their thin crust which was perfectly thin and crunchy, but held up it's form holding all those topping.

"We are like Chipot" OK stop there. Just stop. I can probably open up a crack house and get bank loans just for saying "We are like the Chipotle of Crack. You come up to the counter, you pick your varietal from a free-range organic antibiotic-free region of Colombia/Afghanistan/Bolivia, your choice of pipe or mirror, and we'll cook it in one minute!" Some motherfucker from Goldman Sachs says, "I want to be a partner in your crack business. I have an office full of customers". Generally most of us have been to the (far far far better) 800 Degrees Pizza. And if you've been to 800, I have no business explaining how Pizza Rev works because it's the same. "The same" except every. fucking. ingredient. is handled by a different person. Different person for dough, sauce, cheese, meat, vegetables, and that superfluous person who always ask at the end if that's all I want in my pizza. This after I've yelled (AND YOU HAVE TO YELL BECAUSE NO ONE HEARS SHIT) my order five times. That's the thing, everyone taking your order are cheek-by-jowl, within earshot, nope closer than that actually since they're stumbling onto one another poaching ingredients from a vat. But no one is attentive enough to listen to you. There is no paper receipt that is generated from the beginning of the order so that everyone else could follow. Just yell, yell, yell, and yell some more. And the pizza is banal. 800 degrees strive and do an excellent job in bringing you authentic and exotic ingredients. When Pizza Rev runs out of ingredients, they can borrow from Which Which next door.

IM sorry... I really must missed the boat on this place. Yes, it is a fairly quick process to select your toppings and have your creation baked, but at what expense? First, its $7.99 from your wallet, which is more than some "mom and pop" pizza joints for a few slices (some with 2 slices and a drink). Another cost expense? Lets start with the flavorless dough. Its been a decade or so since I had communion, but I can still remember what communion bread tasted like, and the dough here is not far off. Next is the sauce. Open can, pour, done. No pizazz at all, unless you think that the taste of an aluminum can is gourmet. Next we have the toppings, or lack there of. The toppings are very sporadic at best for my four topping pie. Yes, they have a few toppings that you may not find at chain restaurants, but given the paltry serving, your probably not gonna experience the"wow" factor. Finally, the baking process. Its wonderful that they have this super hot oven to flash bake your pizza Sadly, the pizza that I had designed came to me with barely melted cheese and a chewy thin crust. I would settle for an oven that is slower and in the process actually melts down my cheese into a lightly golden tan. The drink dispenser allows you to create over 100 different combinations of beverages. Thats all fine and nice, but so does Ralphs, Vons, and Albertsons. There are two entrances to this place, neither of which I care to pass thru again. El Segundo and Westchester have options.

Great spot if you love pizza! For $7.99, you get a pizza with unlimited toppings, and they are generous! It seems like this create-your-own pizza concept is really popular these days, and I've been to several of the other chains. Most of them are pretty good, and this one is great as well. I've been to some (Pizza Studio near USC) that seem stingy with toppings, but Pizza Rev really loads on whatever you ask for, especially if you as for "more" of it. The service is great--the staff is always cheerful and upbeat. Other positives: FREE parking in the back, and they serve beer & wine. Can't go wrong here--will definitely be back!

I love this place! What a fun way to order/eat pizza with a group that has different tastes. The pizzas are great and the are still pretty fast and very reasonably priced! I would say you can avoid the ding dong like desserts, they are only ok. The soda fountain is one of the new fancy ones that has a bunch of different falvors, but can back up because there is only one, and kids have a little too much fun playing with it.

This is a message to 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria in Westwood. 800 Degrees, this is how you do fast pizza with custom toppings. The service is quick and friendly. The line moves along quickly even during busy lunch hour. And best of all, the crust is crispy, unlike 800 degrees where you get soggy undercooked dough with bland toppings. For just $8, you get a personalized pizza with a crispy cracker-like thin crust just a few minutes after paying. They have a happy hour special that includes a pizza and a beer for $10.

This place has become one of my favorite places to go. The customer service is amazing, and I am able to make the kind of pizza I want. I have also had the opportunity to create a salad. I don't know which one I like more, the pizza or the salad. They are both tasty. Since the first time I visited this establishment, I have been here at least twice a week. It is just that good, and the price is right. It is $7.99. You cannot go wrong!!!!

Complete disappointment every way no flavor in the food no changing table for a family bathroom and everyone was still hungry when we left. Bland food and toppings were tiny. The promotion of 2 for 1 got us in but we will never return.

Seriously the best, and I mean THE BEST pizza I have ever had!!! It is a build your own pizza bar and everything is incredibly fresh. They had my favorite toppings including artichokes and even Bleu Cheese!! YUMMMMMY!!! I don't know what they put in their toppings to make the pizza taste so freaking good but wow oh wow! The pizza I had included mushroom, pineapple, artichoke, bleu cheese, mozzarella, pepperoni, and sausage. It was the perfect size to share with a friend or split in half over two days. I am very angry at myself for having discovered this place because I know that I will come back again and again and unless I increase my workouts, this will be no bueno for my waistline!!!! Easy parking, cool patio, great people. Five Stars all the way! :) Oh yeah, I would also like to note that they have these fancy dessert thingys that look like old fashioned ding dongs but with a fancier twist and new flavors. I got the Red Velvet one but I was so full from the pizza I haven't tasted it yet.

Fun place to take the kids. Checked in for half off a dessert pizza - they gave it to us for free if we'd write a yelp review!

I thought over all its pretty good. It's across the street from a hotel I stay at. I thought the dough was somewhat bland. The overhead lights were too bright. The music a little too loud, the place echoes a bit. I love pizza, this was better than average. A higher grade of mozzarella and more flavorful dough/ crust is what I believe would improve the product. Pizza in the style of Naples Italy is the best IMO. I will return.

Pizza Is Delicious! The Chinese Cashier Is Unfriendly, Always Has A Terrible Ugly Attitude, Doesnt Smile, Rude. If You PurchaSe A Drink She Just Shoves The Cup In Your Hand, She Is Just The Worst. This Location Is In An Area with Alot Of Corporate Offices And Maybe She Is Upset That Everyone She Encounters Are Happy With Their Lives and Enjoying Their Lunch And She Has To Stand All Day And Look Ugly At The Register! I was told about pizza rev from my sister and she swore I would love it. I am very picky and nothing ever seems to be "good enough" for me. Being vegan it can be very difficult to eat out, but pizza rev had vegan cheese AND gluten free pizza crust??!! I couldn't believe it. The pizza was on a thin crispy crust, and you can put as many toppings on it as you want. It was so good I already planned to visit again next week with my sister. The staff was friendly the food was great, I can't complain if I tried! I wish they opened one of these in the Huntington Beach area, but regardless I'll make the trip.

Great concept, great price and the pizza is actually really good. Thin and crunchy with any toppings you want. If you don't like it, it's all your fault! Brilliant!

I saw this place opened a few weeks ago and it is not too far from my work and home so I decided to go on a lunch adventure today to try it. Now granted I knew this was knock off of pieology which I LOVE in Fullerton and have been obsessed with for a while. But again it was an adventure day so why not?!! I went at 11:30am which of course is peak lunchtime. Lots of people were in line..seemed like mostly business peeps so the line was long but it did move fast. I decided to go the healthy route with the gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Got red sauce and olive oil and skipped the entire meat section. Although it did look good!! Especially the spicy pepperoni...but I digress. Tons of veggie options too and I chose a good amount, onions, mushrooms (appreciated that they were chopped up), peppers, garlic, sundried tomatoes (and I am not a tomato fan but they looked yummy!). Cooked in just a few minutes and was done. Easy to pay for but I agree with others the place overall is a bit loud when it is crowded..like today. Honor system seems to be in place too since I told the guy I had vegan cheese (1$ extra) and wondered if he would have known had I not said so? Oh well....pizza was super good...I felt good for eating a healthier version too. Crust and veggies and sauce all worked well together. Gotta try one next time though with blue cheese and chorizo maybe!! Go and try this place.

Someone said the Subway of Pizza. I think that describes it well. I work down the street from this place and noticed that it was opening soon. My co-worker suggested this place. I made my pizza with regular dough, red sauce, mozzarella, regular pepperoni, Canadian bacon, mushrooms (they use diced mushrooms), red onion, jalapenos, sun dried tomatoes, and arugula. It was DELICIOUS! All my favorite ingredients for the same low price $7.99. That's a deal. With a drink total was $10.90. Their soda machine has a variety of flavors including diet Fanta (Who has that!!!???). And to top of my Pizza Siracha sauce YUMMMM! Overall good pizza but then again it had all the ingredients that I like. The crust was thin and crispy and the sauce was good and not sweet. Okay the cons: First of all there is a glass between you and the ingredients and the person at each prep station. With the music and other guest it's tough to communicate with the person preparing your pizza. I said half peperoni and half Canadian but he didn't hear and put it all over the pizza. It's cool not a biggi for me next time I'll speak louder. So you have to be careful and watch what toppings the person in front of you is getting. My co-worker was in front of me and there was another customer in front of her. The customer in front wanted anchovies on her pizza. So the prep guy grabs the anchovy and spreads it on the pizza. Everyone knows that anchovies have oil and it can be pretty pungent. So when the prep guy began to prep my coworker's pizza his hands (he was wearing gloves) where full of the anchovy oil. Yuck!! If you don't like the taste of anchovies (like my co-worker). It also makes you wonder what if people are allergic to some ingredients. It's not a big deal for me but it can be for others. Overall it was a good experience! Just make sure to speak loud. I found out that there are several of these places but this is the first time I've set foot in one. I'll be coming back for lunch.

Very clean and nice place. Staff are very friendly and attentive. After a staff explained to me how it works, I went on to order my own custom pizza. Pick a dough and pick your cheese, and load it with whatever you want off the menu. Literally, as much as the pizza can hold (the crust is thin not like costco). Then they put your pizza in the oven, and within 15 mins it's fresh hot and ready. There're plenty of seats in and out at the patio. Quiet with customers chatter; no music is actually a good thing here. Food is good, way beyond what you pay for. A slight glitch was that they brought the wrong order to me, but I didnt realize until I took a bite: wait, I ordered white sauce, and no chicken... I probably ate a pizza custom ordered by a total stranger. The fact that it is still hella delicious indicates how good their ingredients are, that it cant go wrong even if it wasnt what you wanted.

Reminds me of pieology, another chain pizza shop. They have toppings for you to pick ranging from different cheeses veggies and meats, it's in a clean new modern shop where you go in pick your toppings and wait a few mins for a thin crust pizza. It's definitely a healthy pizza for those that don't like dough or the extra calories.

I like the option of adding a few additional ingredients here and there but a true pizza eater LOVES their margarita pizza. And this place definitely made a delicious margarita! Vegan cheese option is great but the non-fat mozzarella was AWESOME! I gave it 3 stars for the perfectly cooked NON-droopy crust, even thought it was only 4mm thick! The fact that these pizza's are made on the spot makes it taste better, I do not recommend you taking it to-go or delivered. Beware, don't burn your mouth from the cheese! Also 1 pan per person is a perfect amount. enjoy!

Excellent place! Its my first time and I already love it. They use lots of ingredients making the pizza really big and making me feel happy about the money I spend. I tried the following combination: white and regular sauce, spicy chorizo, chicken, bacon, onions, peppers and mushrooms. You can add as much ingredients you want and the price will stay the same. The dessert pizza is ok, not a big fan... I will come back.

It is thin crust pizza! I came here last week. The training for the staff at the door could be improved. I walked in and didn't know what to do. It was very confusing, but it is 7.99 for all the toppings you want on a pizza, with a couple upgrade options clearly stated on the menu, Gluten Free add $2, and Vegan Cheese add $1.(who wants those anyway? but i guess vegans need to eat too...) I went up to the counter and told them that I hadn't been there before, even though there was a line, they took the time to explain how things worked. My experience was much better than the bad yelp review so far. Thankfully I didn't get the Gluten Free, and my pizza had some nice char to it so there wasn't anything that was undercooked. I liked it so much taking my wife, sister and nieces there this week! Cross my fingers that trip 2 was as good as trip 1!

I've gone about 10 times now and it is consistently delicious! There are so many great, healthy topping options and the staff is super nice. Only once (a while back) my pizza was underdone- sad and mushy- but all other times it was crispy-crusted yumminess. They seem to have gotten better and better since opening. I always get the gluten free crust and it is really, really (surprisingly) good! Lately, I am loving the red sauce with some pesto thrown on, low-fat mozz (tastes very similar to regular), a touch of ricotta, chicken and lots of veggies. Hubby loves the regular crust with white sauce and loads of veggies and canadian bacon. Ordering online is a great option but a few times the site has been down -- however I've learned it's better to order in person and walk off with a super fresh hot pizza if you want to take it home. Weeknights can be super busy and kids running every which way, but with the 3-minute cook time, you aren't there for too long. Glad to hear they are expanding to other areas, too!

Same concept as 800 Degrees (long wait and soggy pies) in Westwood and Pizza Studio (no complaints :) near SC. This place has a lot of things going for it, the pizza is good, they have a large patio, one of those soda machines with a million combinations, and the pies aren't soggy. The problem.. the employees seem a little lost, they need to make a few adjustments with the flow. Why is the guy writing my name with a sharpie then making my pizza? Do that at the end before it goes into the oven, and how about you ask what kind of sauce and dough I want instead of making that decision yourself. The first person the customer runs into should have a little personality, and be able to explain what's going on for new customers. Oh, and they had a ton of dirty tables.. which is always awesome while eating.

I really like the idea behind Pizza Rev. Custom pizzas. As much topping as you want and cooked fast. I got a pizza piled on with various meats and cheeses. Made to order. Here is where things went wrong. My pizza came out. It was kind of cold in the middle. All the flavors were good, but its hard to look past cold pizza. I think another couple minutes in the oven could have worked. I will say this. For $8 a pie its a hell of a deal. Especially with all you can eat toppings. Perhaps I went on a bad night or something. If my pizza was cooked properly I would have reconsidered my rating.

The employees at Pizza Rev are SO SWEET!! I went in last night with my mom-in-law and my husband and ordered up a preggo woman's delight to satisfy the hungry 30 week old fetus inside of me: artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, olives, and FRANK'S HOT SAUCE. Yum yum yum!! About 10 minutes after we sat down, an employee came to my table, apologized, and informed me that my pizza had been destroyed during the baking process, and that they were making me another pizza ASAP. Whatever. I ain't even mad. I sat back and smiled, knowing that an amazing spicy thin-crust delight would be dancing on my tongue in just a few minutes. Then, from nowhere, a free side salad appears! Woah! I gobbled it up quickly. The balsamic vinaigrette was tangy and fresh, and it was pretty big for a side salad. In my pre-preggo state, that side salad would've been pretty filling. Actually, in my pre-preggo state, I would've considered the pizzas at Pizza Rev to be a whole two meal's worth of food, so this place is a pretty good value...but I digress. Before I could even finish inhaling my greens, the pizza arrived! And it was everything I'd ever dreamed it to be. Crispy, topped with all the vegetables I could ever want, and with a tangy garlicy red sauce that I wouldn't mind taking a bath in. And the generous serving of hot sauce on the side made my SOUL sing for joy!!! Seriously, the pizzas here are awesome. I already knew this, though. The husband and I meet here for pizza once a week or so because the pizzas are just SO GOOD. I finished my pizza in 15 minutes flat and rubbed my belly contentedly. There's nothin' like a belly full of delicious pizza! But wait, there's more!! As we're getting ready to leave, one of the employees asked us if we'd like a FREE dessert pizza to make up for messing up my order! WHAT?! Hell yeah! We were too full of AWESOME at the time to scarf a dessert pizza, so we took it home to nibble on later. We opted for the oreo crumble pizza. It wasn't bad! Thin crust topped with chocolatey goodness and some sort of sweet drizzle (it tasted kinda like white chocolate, though I couldn't be sure.) I prefer their regular pizzas, but then again I was never a dessert kinda girl. In short, the pizza at Pizza Rev is AWESOME, the employees are SWEET, and every time the husband and I go we leave satisfied. The price is pretty reasonable too. What's not to love?

What a great concept. PizzaRev offers a craft your own pizza in about 12 minutes (from start- line out the door FYI). Huge variety of fresh toppings. Staff is knowledgable and was able to move the line quickly considering they were slammed. Seriously, great pizza.

I tried this place out last week and had no idea that it was a bit different than your standard pizza joint. For $7.99 you basically get a pretty big personal pizza with unlimited toppings. Very thin crust, which I like, and the taste was quite good. Couple that with a short cooking time and one of those cool digital soda vending machines and you've got a winner. I'll definitely be going back for more. 4.5 stars

I was driving back to the SGV from Manhattan Beach and happened upon this place. It's in a little plaza with couple other food places (5 Guys, Which Wich, etc...). I've been wanting to try because I know they have a gluten free crust.. It is 2 dollars extra but getting a decent gf pizza is worth it. We got in line, and I asked for gluten free. They asked if it was a preference or allergy (srsly, if it wasn't an allergy I wouldn't be opting to pay 2 bucks more for crust). I explained allergy and they called someone over with fresh gloves to do my pizza, which I really, really appreciated because it helps alleviate some of the cross contamination. I got red sauce, EXTRA CHEESE (no charge for extra cheese and I'm piling it on), pepperoni and black olives. The gf crust does take a little more time to cook (3-4 minutes) as my sister's regular pie came out before mine but I love that they cook it on a separate slab in the brick oven. It was well worth the money and wait. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Cheesy, crispy, flavorful sauce. And I love that they have parm and oregano in shakers. I can't wait to go back and be more adventurous in toppings.

This is one of those places that if you don't give the food a 5 you really only have yourself to blame, you walk down the row and pick everything that you want to go on top of your pizza. There are a couple of choices for the sauce, several choices of cheese and lots of other toppings to choose from and it's all one price, so for about $8.00 you can have your very own personal pizza, and again if you can't give it a 5 then you are the one that messed it up! The process of picking your items goes pretty quick, then they toss it in the over and call you when it's cooked then you get to eat it, and even though it looks small going in the oven, once you get it in front of you it's a nice size pizza for one or two people. If you have some good friends in your party then get a couple of different ones and share. Give it a try you will not be disappointed, unless you know nothing about what you like on your pizza.

I've been to many customizable pizza places and this is probably number 2 after Pizza Studios. The thin crust here is perfect and crisp and they have a good selection of toppings including vegan options. An extra plus for me is they have anchovies that don't look like they've been sitting in the fridge for ages.

Delicious pizza, great bargain, fully customizable and all the toppings you desire for the same low price. The crust is simple, but super thin and sort of crispy. The pizza is ready in just a few minutes and after three visits, We have never been less than happy. Great experience and delicious pizza.

I remember driving up and down Sepulveda and eyeing the Pizza Rev before it opened, pondering of promises of incredible pizza. Turns out it is pretty awesome. Came here one afternoon with a man-friend and my little one. We got three pizzas and we all enjoyed them, though my pizza kind of got messed up twice when they were constructing it (I guess I must mumble). Word of warning though -- if you're indecisive, do some menu research beforehand. They are like pizza speed demons and will be like two steps ahead of you the whole time.

Pretty darn good pizza! I like that you can pick your own ingredients to make it to your liking. I ordered online, as I knew the line would be long. It was easy peasy this way. Got to the locations a few minutes after my pick up time and ugh my pizza wasn't ready. Apparently, their online system wasn't accepting credit cards and they were working on it, as per the guy working the cashier. Ok no problem, seeing that they just had opened not too long ago and still working out the bugs. So I waited and waited about 10 minutes. I thought this pizza better be good ... to make good on my long wait - I assume the manager, gave me a cup for free soda and apologized for my wait. I don't drink soda, so I passed on the offer, so he gave me bottled water. Now that's what I call taking care of your customers!! 5 stars just for that gesture! and thank you. Got back to the office, with pizza in hand, smelled yummy - I got olive oil, with tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, onions, sausage, pepperoni and basil. They didn't skimp on the toppings, it was appropriately proportioned and the taste was delish. The crust was thin crust and baked to perfection. I was very pleased. Worth going back and $7.99 for a pizza your way; not bad.
